Space Maintainers
If a primary tooth (baby tooth) is removed early due to an abscess or some kind of trauma, a space maintainer may be recommended to save the space. If the space is not preserved, the other teeth may shift causing crowding and hard to treat orthodontic problems.

Dentures
With all the advancements in dentistry, implants and bridgework are very commonplace in restorative dentistry nowadays. But for some patients, dentures are a better alternative.
There are various types of full and partial dentures available. Each patient has their own specific need. But the one thing that all dentures have in common is that they help maintain a younger more vibrant appearance as well as restore the functions of speaking and chewing at a more optimal level.
If you are missing several or all of your teeth and you would like to change your look, chew your food better, and speak more clearly… then call us to set up an appointment.

Slient Nite ® Snore Guard
Another service offered to you our valued patient from People’s Dental Care.
Do you snore at night?
The medical profession estimates that 80 million people in North America alone snore while sleeping. And when one considers the spouses and children that would be as many as 160 million people who are negatively affected by snoring every night.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA is a disorder whereby breathing repeatedly stops for brief periods during sleep because the throat muscles can’t keep the airway consistently open. This leads to fragmented sleep and lowers oxygen levels in the blood, which in turn puts people at risk for cardiovascular problems such as hypertension and heart disease, and of course daytime fatigue.
But there is hope! Along with a few lifestyle changes such as losing weight and correcting posture and positions while sleeping, patients can obtain more restful nights sleeping with the aid of the prescription snore guard appliance called Silent Nite®. Silent Nite® is a custom made, affordable, flexible and comfortable device that aids in reducing snoring.
The appliance is made by your dentist taking impressions and sending them to the lab where they are poured with plaster to make models of the upper and lower teeth. The lab sends back an appliance composed of two separate plastic bite trays, one each for the bottom and top teeth. These trays are attached together with a pair of plastic hinges which keep the lower jaw in protrusion (coming forward). By keeping the jaw forward, this helps to allow ease of airflow while you sleep.
Contact us today for an appointment to find out if a Silent Nite® Appliance is right for you. 254-699-7002
